I discovered Human Design in the summer of 2018 while trying to figure out the simple things in life like -who am I, what do I even like and how the eff do I adult? I’d never felt so articulated, understood and relieved as I did when I read my chart. For me Human Design has given me permission to embrace my strengths- even the ones that I had previously thought of as “weaknesses”. It has also given me permission to let go of trying to cultivate areas of my life that don’t come as easily. The thing is we all have natural talents. Things that come so naturally that often we overlook them- if it’s that easy for you it must be so for everyone right? Not so much. I started reading friends charts for fun, ordering books, and listening to every Human Design Reader interviewed on every podcast I could find. Most recently I completed Jenna Zoe’s Level 1 and 2 reader training which was a wonderful addition to all the self -study I had been doing. My approach to chart readings is more go-with-the-flow-y with emphasis on purpose and areas for de-conditioning because these were the places that have helped me the most. Aside from Human Design, I spend my free time surfing, thrift shopping, crafting and talking to my cat like he’s a human. In a past life I was a Division 1 Collegiate Swimmer for NMSU, an organic farmer, an elephant keeper, an avian field biologist, a tropical fish salesperson, the host of an environmentally focused podcast and a corporate property manager.
